Administer and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux), including system updates, patching, and performance tuning.
Deploy, configure, and manage network infrastructure such as firewalls, switches, routers, and VPN solutions to support a secure enterprise environment.
Implement and maintain security controls and policies in line with CMMC Level 2 or higher.
Perform regular system and network vulnerability scans, remediation, and documentation.
Manage directory services (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP) and multi-factor authentication solutions.
Assist with incident response, forensic analysis, and recovery procedures as needed.
Provide Tier 2/3 support and assist with cybersecurity audits and assessments.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
U.S. Citizenship (required for DoD-related work)
Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CCNA, Network + or CMMC-CCA/CCP
3–5 years of experience in System/Network Administration
3-5 years Experience with secure network configuration and segmentation
Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and Microsoft 365 environments
Familiarity with SIEM tools, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanning platforms
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Active Directory, or similar network appliance
Working Knowledge of CMMC/NIST-800-171
Working Knowledge of DISA STIGS
Scripting experience with PowerShell or Bash for automation
