Produce comprehensive financial plans on behalf of affiliated advisors across retirement, tax, estate, education funding, insurance, cash flow, Social Security analysis, and more
Run detailed tax analyses including Roth conversion modeling, tax-efficient withdrawal strategies, income timing, and charitable giving scenarios
Build estate planning scenarios and coordinate with advisors on trust, gifting, and wealth transfer strategies
Serve as a trusted planning expert to a diverse group of independent advisors, each with their own brand and client style
Prepare advisors for client meetings with clear, presentation-ready deliverables and talking points
Help define and refine the workflows, templates, and quality standards for our centralized planning function
Mentor and train junior planners as we grow the team
Requirements
Required CFP® certification (active and in good standing)
3–5 years of hands-on experience building comprehensive financial plans in a professional setting (RIA, broker-dealer, or planning firm)
Strong working knowledge of financial planning software in the categories of comprehensive planning, tax planning, and estate planning (e.g., RightCapital, Holistiplan, Wealth.com, eMoney, or similar tools)
Ability to translate complex planning concepts into clear, actionable deliverables that advisors can confidently present to clients
Comfort working across multiple advisor relationships simultaneously, each with different styles and client bases
Preferred Series 65 or 7 & 63
Experience working in a multi-advisor or enterprise RIA environment (not just supporting a single advisor)
Familiarity with and enthusiasm for impact investing and values-aligned financial planning
A track record of improving processes—you’ve built templates, streamlined workflows, or introduced tools that made a planning team more efficient
Interest in mentoring or leading others. You don’t need management experience yet, but you want it.
