Plans, organizes, and controls an assigned product line from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth.
Responsibilities include training and mentoring employees; defining and executing on product vision, managing the go-to-market strategy, leading cross-functional product development teams; addressing complaints and resolving problems related to the assigned product lines; analyze complex business cases to determine product viability; define strategic direction and KPIs; and perform gap analysis.
Participates in overall product strategy, sales forecasting, market and product research and development requirements, development, and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging products.
Supervises day-to-day progress of product and conducts marketing analysis to develop product and competitive market definitions and analyze technical and financial product information.
Provides technical expertise and training to other departments in support of product development.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
15 years related experience required (product management/sales/marketing/clinical)
Orthopedic experience required
Knowledge of surgical orthopedics.
Ability to work with cadaveric specimens is required.
