Support NMF’s Instagram and LinkedIn pages — monitoring comments, engaging followers, and maintaining a consistent brand voice
Draft and schedule social content in HeyOrca in alignment with the campaign calendar and content themes
Flag emerging trends, follower interactions, and engagement opportunities for the broader team
Support the development of NMF’s Story Bank — a growing library of scholar, alumni, and stakeholder narratives that power communications across channels
Conduct outreach to scholars and alumni to gather story submissions; coordinate the #MYNMFStory UGC campaign
Organize, tag, and maintain story assets so they are accessible and ready for use across email, social, and event content
Audit and reorganize the MarCom shared Google Drive — establishing a clear, logical folder structure and consistent labeling conventions
Build and maintain a simple asset index so the team can locate brand materials, campaign content, and approved copy quickly
Support file management and version control as new content is produced
Assist with drafting and editing copy for email newsletters, event promotions, and campaign materials
Support special projects tied to the 80th Anniversary campaign as needs arise
Requirements
A current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate, with a focus in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field
Someone with a genuine interest in healthcare, nonprofit work, or social impact
A strong writer who communicates clearly and adapts tone across platforms
Organized and self-directed — comfortable managing multiple tasks in a remote environment
Familiar with Instagram and LinkedIn as professional platforms
Proficiency in Social Media Tools (IG, Reels), WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite preferred; experience with Canva, Google Workspace, or social scheduling tools is a plus
