About this role
Role Overview
Comply to and consistently follow the standards and procedures designed to enable you to work safely and effectively every day
Perform planned, unplanned and or breakdown maintenance both on all areas of site and in remote areas, assist other trade disciplines and Operational personnel where required
Develop close working relationships with operations personnel to ensure that all plant downtime issues are escalated correctly and rectified immediately
Provide continual feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor on job progress
Engage in safety and improvement initiatives, identify and report on any unsafe equipment
Perform Maintenance work as per weekly schedule and during full plant outages
Supervise and coordinate contractors as required
Create accurate and detailed notifications from mechanical inspections
Contribute to the development of Maintenance Procedures
Maintain tools and equipment as well as a high level of housekeeping in all work areas
Assist with developing scopes of work, THA’s and creation of breakdown work orders
Requirements
Proven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harm's way
Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels and functions of the asset
Ability to work well alone and as a team
Trade qualified Plumber (essential)
Ticketed to perform poly-welding (Electrofusion & Extrusion)
Forklift licence preferred but not essential
Backhoe ticket essential excavator ticket is highly desired
Backflow prevention certification essential
Must hold a current drivers license and be able to drive a manual light vehicle
Previous experience in operational areas (Desalination Plant, Saline and Borefield) is highly desirable
Ability to work and communicate effectively with Operations, Planning and other area personnel
Proficient in the use of 1SAP/Fiori or similar preferred, but not essential
