Role Overview
Support the business with developing export/import licensing strategies to enable business efficiency and growth
Provide subject matter expertise (SME) for ITAR and EAR export authorizations requirements
Responsible for preparing, maintaining, and monitoring compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) export/import licenses, agreements (TAAs/MLAs), permits, certifications, technology release authorizations, and other Global Trade authorization requirements
Guide business stakeholders on GT review and approval requirements, including use of P&W GT tools (authorization, classification, transfer, travel tools, etc.)
Provide day-to-day guidance and support to interpret and explain export compliance requirements such as license/agreement provisos, export regulations, and Raytheon export policies and procedures
Assist with investigations and reviews of possible GT escapes and disclosures.
Provide Global Trade training to business stakeholders and maintain oversight of relevant business activities
Aligning with SPMs from each program, country specific to ensure there were no compliance risks
Train employees to be Authorized users on all authorizations, new hire training, GT basic training, approved transfer tool utilization
Support CORE events and reviews and timely complete corrective actions stemming from GT investigation or disclosure activity
Maintain active awareness of compliance risks and vigorously report and pursue risk mitigation measures
Maintain records and support ongoing audit and assessment activities
Respond to export compliance questions, including the interpretation of company policy and procedures, work instructions and government ITAR/EAR regulations
Maintain a problem-solving approach to support compliance with U.S. Government export/import regulations and company policies in assigned areas
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of global trade experience, including program management with specific emphasis on Global Trade authorizations management; OR Advanced Degree and 5+ years of global trade experience, including program management with specific emphasis on Global Trade authorizations management
US Citizenship is required, due to program requirements
