Plan materials for production flow lines in line with MRP system requirements and ensure appropriate and effective levels of available on-hand inventory.
Report to the Department Manager and be part of a dedicated planning team.
Promote work orders from MRP system to ensure timely release and completion of components in line with production planning requirements.
Review and Process required MRP exception messages.
Maintain schedule, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path issues and network logic conflicts.
Implement and maintain Kanban processes.
Collaborate with Program Management and Contracts to understand demand forecast drivers.
Provide input in developing departmental strategies for inventory on existing items, new product introduction and phase outs.
Perform related inventory transactions into ERP system.
Work with demand forecasting, incorporating current and accurate information.
Execute excellence around stock and demand replenishment providing feedback to the supply chain on risks regarding replenishment levels and demand.
Plan and manage material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
Monitor, analyze, and report performance against baseline schedules to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.

Bachelor’s degree in business, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline a plus.
HS Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 8 years of directly related experience in a planning/scheduling role within a manufacturing environment required.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast -paced environment with strong attention to detail.
MRP Experience a MUST.
Intermediate level of Microsoft Office competencies.
Experience in statistical reporting, forecasting, and understanding of financial and operational impacts of forecasting
Strong communication and organizational skills
Problem-solving under constraints
Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams
Participate in production meetings, reporting on status and any issues.
