Role Overview
- Customize program elements to meet the needs of designated prescribing physicians
- Review patient status and assist the prescribing physician with patient enrollment
- Proactively evaluate programs and make recommendations to improve outcomes and service quality
- Coordinate private and public insurance coverage activities directly with insurers
- Contribute to the training and development of new field case managers as needed
Requirements
- Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance sectors, or related experience
- Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience is an asset
- Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and access to reliable transportation for regional travel
- Knowledge of public and private reimbursement structures, systems, and processes
