About this role

Design and build Agora's internal platform that empowers product teams to ship software with confidence, reliability, and speed
Own core platform components such as our TypeScript Pulumi codebase, Kubernetes-based runtime environments, and monitoring stack
Architect scalable systems, enforce engineering standards through code, and continuously improve developer experience through well-engineered platform capabilities

5+ years of professional Software Engineering experience, including substantial work in Infrastructure and Cloud domains
Strong programming skills in TypeScript or another strictly typed language
Strong understanding of distributed systems fundamentals (availability, consistency, observability, fault tolerance)
Experience designing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code systems
Deep understanding of AWS architecture
Experience designing, operating, and scaling Kubernetes workloads
Proven ability to build reusable systems and abstractions rather than one-off scripts
