Develop and maintain a project coordination organization to meet Mid-Range Plan (MRP) commitments within a set of capital and human resources on a 2-year rolling time horizon, with responsibility for the effective execution of equipment deliverables for projects.
Build and lead a team of committed and capable employees to ensure successful project execution
Develop and implement methods to identify, measure, and monitor operational process quality and efficiency in appropriate areas of accountability
Identify opportunities, initiate and lead process improvement initiatives in the organization
Develop, implement, and manage a process to provide project status updates to Company executive management, business units, and clients
Identify and recommend improvements to the business units' project execution processes
Ensure that contracts/PO's, Letters of Credit, bond, and trade compliance requirements are met for the shipment of equipment, software, and documentation to integrators, suppliers, and clients worldwide
Ensure appropriate personnel are notified when critical commercial information is incomplete for proper execution of project coordination accountabilities
Ensure the effective design, development, implementation, measurement, and management of processes to continuously increase capability in responding, analyzing, resolving, and reporting client issues in a timely manner
Ensure project execution activities are properly managed within Oracle Projects
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent via education and/or work experience
5 years of experience in project coordination or internal/external client service
Demonstrated knowledge of applicable legislation and regulatory guidelines and their impact on business processes
Demonstrated success developing, implementing, measuring, and improving effective processes in functional areas
Demonstrated experience reviewing and evaluating contract Terms & Conditions, including billing terms, penalties, contract value, milestone payments, Letters of Credit, bonds, and International Commercial Terms (INCO)
Demonstrated experience requiring application of international shipping policies
Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts
Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills
Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Availability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 15%, sometimes with limited notice
Demonstrated experience leading teams to achieve business goals.
