Negotiation and Purchasing: Setting prices, delivery lead times, payment terms and purchase volumes to optimize costs.
Contract Management: Drafting and monitoring supply contracts, ensuring compliance with SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
Strategic Commercial Negotiation: Securing the best conditions for price, payment terms and minimum order quantities. The focus is not only on the lowest price but on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), considering logistics, taxes and quality.
Strategic Sourcing Management: Applying procurement methodology to analyze the supplier market, identify new sources of supply (domestic or international) and reduce dependence on single suppliers.
Security of Supply: Ensuring materials arrive on time to prevent production line stoppages that would generate significant losses.
Cost Breakdown Analysis: Decomposing supplier costs (labor, raw materials, margin) to negotiate based on real data rather than market "feeling."
Interface with Quality and Engineering: Working with technical teams to qualify new materials or suppliers that provide better cost-benefit without compromising required quality.
