Role Overview
- Environmental due diligence including performance of Phase I ESAs and limited environmental compliance reviews
- Technical research, review, and management of documents and data
- Fieldwork such as soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling, drilling, and contractor oversight
- Data compilation, review, and analysis
- Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals
- Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to project or office sites as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology (required)
- At least 2 years of related experience
- Knowledge of federal and state-specific regulatory drivers related to environmental assessment and remediation (required)
- Prior experience in environmental consulting (valuable)
- Experience in environmental site assessment, environmental permitting/compliance (preferred)
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD and/or GIS (preferred)
- Excellent writing and communication skills (required)
- Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing (required)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required)
