Senior Manager, Field Medical

Role Overview

• Plan and execute medical strategy and engagement with identified customers in assigned territory
• Maintain a high level of scientific and therapeutic area knowledge
• Deliver truthful and scientifically supported information in response to medical requests
• Serve as a conduit for medical information and customer insights
• Identify and explore areas where real-world clinical practice may diverge from established evidence
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with headquarters Medical Affairs colleagues
• Support patient–focused discussions that highlight unmet needs and barriers to optimal outcomes
• Deliver approved medical content related to Pfizer medicines to HCPs

Requirements

• MD degree required
• 0+ years of relevant experience in clinical practice, clinical research, health services research, or pharmaceutical/biotechnology medical affairs
• Experience engaging healthcare professionals in independent scientific exchange and medical decision–making required
• Experience in the designated therapeutic area is highly desirable
• Demonstrated clinical and technical expertise applicable to scientific exchange and medical engagement
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Comfortable operating within a matrixed organization
• Demonstrated change agility and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment
• Strong problem–solving skills and ability to network enterprise-wide
