Role Overview
- Manage environment strategy including sandbox vs. production configurations
- Maintain comprehensive platform documentation and communications
- Serve as the escalation point for highly complex platform issues
- Manage support operations for Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Partner with Data Engineering and CRM teams for data flows
- Own technical decisions and design on data models, field mappings, event structures, and API usage
- Monitor and centrally track technical issues
- Help develop the end-to-end migration playbook to SFMC
- Implement and design scalable technical solutions and automation
- Own the technical aspects of deliverability management
- Monitor and maintain platform health metrics
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in marketing technology
- 4+ years as a hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud administrator
- Additional experience with Marketo a plus
- Deep technical expertise in SFMC architecture including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and Data Extensions
- Strong experience with data integration technologies: APIs, SQL, AMPscript, SSJS
- Experience with AI/ML tools and automation frameworks
- Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
- Proven problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity
