Define and drive the enterprise data excellence strategy aligned with business priorities, digital roadmaps, and J&J standards
Establish and govern data ownership, stewardship, and decision rights across domains
Lead adoption of common data standards, definitions, and policies to enable consistency and comparability
Own and drive data quality frameworks, metrics, and issue management processes
Partner with Quality, IT, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment with GxP, SOX, privacy, and regulatory requirements
Enable business teams with trusted data and insights by partnering closely with analytics, planning, finance, and operations functions
Serve as the data excellence lead for large-scale transformation initiatives
Design and evolve scalable data operating models, including global-local ways of working and governance forums
Lead, coach, and develop data excellence talent, fostering strong functional capabilities and a culture of accountability
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
10+ years of progressive experience in data management, analytics, digital enablement, or business excellence within a complex enterprise environment
5+ years of People Management Experience
Proven leadership in data governance, data quality, or enterprise transformation initiatives
Strong ability to operate across business and technology stakeholders in a matrixed organization
Demonstrated experience influencing senior leaders and driving change without direct authority
Experience with ERP and analytics ecosystems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, planning systems, data platforms)
Exposure to regulated environments (MedTech, Pharma, Consumer)
Advanced degree or relevant certifications in data, analytics, or process excellence
