About this role
Role Overview
- developing and maintaining business connections with customers in the Lake Charles, LA to Beaumont, TX area
- develops and implements sales plans utilizing Airgas' sales initiatives and guidelines
- services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts
- qualifies and connects with sales leads
- nurtures customer relationships by developing a thorough understanding of the customer's business
- prepares sales proposals by quoting pricing, establishing credit terms
- keeps current with industry insights, current Airgas product mixes and market trends
- collaborates with internal resources to accomplish success milestones
- establishes and maintains clear communication with internal departments
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years experience with pumping or industrial gas/equipment
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs
- Contract negotiations experience
- 4 to 8 years experience with pumping or industrial gas/equipment (Preferred Qualifications)
- Previous experience with contract negotiations (Preferred Qualifications)
- Previous experience with midstream, downstream or other oil and gas companies (Preferred Qualifications)
