About this role
Role Overview
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel generators and associated equipment.
- Manage and conduct on-site installations, commissioning, and customer support.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Support the team with technical advice and training.
- Apprentice mentor and support Training of new and current colleagues.
Requirements
- Degree/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working with industrial generators (Cummins, Iveco, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of generator engines, alternators, and control systems.
- Experience in power generation preferred.
- Full UK driving licence.
