Deep knowledge of federal, state and municipal tax legislation, including ICMS, IPI, ISS, PIS, COFINS, etc.;
Ability to analyze data, interpret laws and regulations, identify tax optimization opportunities and solve issues;
Calculate and remit direct and indirect taxes, including tax bookkeeping and generation of payment forms;
Prepare and file ancillary declarations such as SPED and State Tax Returns;
Manage and control the company’s tax credits;
Communicate tax matters clearly and objectively, collaborate with other departments and maintain good interpersonal relationships;
Participate in strategic projects, such as implementation of new technologies or process optimization;
Conduct financial and tax analyses to identify opportunities and risks;
Be organized, detail-oriented and deadline-focused to ensure tax compliance;
Provide support and guidance to other departments on tax-related matters.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fields;
Experience in accounting routines, including entries, reconciliations, classifications, month-end close and financial statement analysis;
Experience with integrated ERP systems (preferably Protheus
TOTVS);
Advanced Excel skills, with ability to process and analyze data;
Knowledge of accounting and tax legislation, IFRS standards and control of provisions and reconciliations;
Preferable experience in mid
to large-sized companies;
Analytical, organized and proactive profile, with good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
