Negotiation and Purchasing: Define pricing, delivery lead times, payment terms and purchase volumes to optimize costs.
Contract Management: Draft and monitor supply contracts, ensuring compliance with SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
Strategic Commercial Negotiation: Secure the best conditions for price, payment terms and minimum order quantities. The focus is not only on the lowest price, but on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), taking into account logistics, taxes and quality.
Strategic Sourcing Management: Apply procurement methodology to analyze the supplier market, identify new supply sources (domestic or international) and reduce dependence on single suppliers.
Security of Supply: Ensure materials arrive on time to avoid production line stoppages that would cause significant losses.
Cost Breakdown Analysis: Break down supplier costs (labor, raw materials, margin) to negotiate based on real data rather than market "feeling."
Interface with Quality and Engineering: Work alongside technical teams to qualify/approve new materials or suppliers that provide better cost-benefit without compromising the required quality.
