About this role
Role Overview
Develop the next generation of IO family for Software Define Vehicle, and scalability for all Truck and Buses platforms
Lead and coordinate with all regions, in truck and Buses platforms, the development of IO Cabin, IO Cab. Expansion and IO Chassis
Lead and create with the regions the technical specification of the IOs for RfQ
Align with regions the pinning for all IOs. Identify best technical concept to guarantee a flexible PIN control, independent from VMM updates
Coordinate with multiple teams for the technical spec development: powernet, architecture/communication network, FuSa, CyberSecurity, SW stack and etc.
Meet with I/O suppliers to align the technical concept and review best product offering
Align project timelines, system design, validation and issue resolving with our Global team
In parallel, support Demo Truck activities and adapt current ASAM for first SDV demonstrations.
Mentor junior engineers in the team by delegating technical asks and guide them through the resolution.
Report to stakeholder.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or software engineering from an accredited university/college
5 years of experience in automotive ECU Hardware & Software development
Previous experience working in a global development organization with teams and colleagues across the world
5 years of experience in identifying and solving the root cause of complex problems
2 years leading and mentoring others on that matter
Working knowledge of CAN databus, embedded controllers is required
5 years of experience in using Vector tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, and related debugging tools) for troubleshooting, bus analysis and ECU testing.
3 years of experience in model-based SW development tools and methods, and with AUTOSAR ECUs
5 years of experience in developing and analyzing electrical circuits for automotive applications (including schematic review, component selection and failure mode analysis)
3 years of experience with body control features and system in trucks or commercial vehicles.
Excellent communication skills to interact with suppliers, customers and market councils
Knowledge of input/output circuits and signal conditioning for automotive sensors/actuators.
Ability to document technical concepts clearly (e.g., requirements specs, test reports) for diverse stakeholders
Ability to balance trade-offs between performance, cost, and safety.
