Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams (Drafting/Sourcing/Manufacturing) to execute and deliver team PLM tasks on-time with quality
Partner with Product Line, Application Engineering, Product Service, and SILs to drive platform strategy for product structuring and technology enhancements
Identify and leverage other external team best practices, across Gas Power Engineering to drive productivity and technology
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Significant (7+ years) engineering experience
Advanced engineering degree (desired)
Strong experience in Steam Turbine rotating component design, including ST design process & procedures (desired)
Demonstrated excellence applying fundamentals of Mechanical Design, including material properties, statics, strength of materials, fluid dynamics, lifing methods related to fatigue (LCF & HCF) and creep (desired)
Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS) capability (desired)
Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt Certified (GE Employees only, desired)
