About this role
Role Overview
- Report directly to the Statutory Reporting & Tax Manager
- Work closely with external partners including auditors and tax advisors
- Produce primary statements and disclosure notes for annual report
- Oversee production of statutory consolidation and group accounts
- Ensure non-financial sustainability statements are up to date
- Support interim and year end external reporting process
- Liaise with auditors on year end deliverables
- Prepare technical accounting papers for submission to auditors
- Experience in applying technical accounting standards
- Prepare monthly consolidated balance sheet & cash flow for reporting
Requirements
- ACA qualified
- 1-2 years PQE
- Experience of large organisations
- Up-to-date knowledge of UKGAAP
- Experience of preparing or auditing UKGAAP financial statements
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advance excel skills
- Knowledge of IFRS 16 and lease accounting (desirable)
