Geotechnical Designer, Engineer

Role Overview

• Participating in geotechnical design and analysis for Major Projects
• Performing geotechnical calculations such as bearing capacity, settlement analysis, slope stability, soil liquefaction, and earth pressures
• Supporting numerical modelling studies and advanced analyses
• Preparing high-quality technical reports, design documentation, drawings, specification and deliverables
• Collaborating closely with civil, structural, environmental, and construction teams

Requirements

• Degree in civil, geological, or geotechnical engineering
• Must eligible to P.Eng. across provinces in Canada
• 8 to 20+ years of relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of specialized software (Plaxis, GeoStudio, FLAC, etc.)
• Solid understanding of geotechnical engineering principles
