Own the commercial contribution, cost saving performance and load factor outcomes for assigned interline, freighter and trucking accounts in line with the Network targets.
Act as single point of accountability for assigned interline/freighter/trucking suppliers for commercial matters (contract, scheduling, rates negotiations, invoicing, long-term planning, contractual performance).
Ensure strong collaboration with Commercial Management teams to drive decisions to utilise outsourced suppliers to feed IAGC green capacity.
Sourcing the most effective outsourced capacity for IAGC to expand its network reach from/to offline destinations whilst ensuring effective cost control management.
Own day to day account problem solving for revenue and billing impacting issues both internally and with the supplier.
Establish and lead a structured governance cadence with assigned suppliers to review performance and contract adherence.
Establish and lead quarterly business reviews with internal stakeholders ensure revenue and cost performance are on target.
Monitor partner performance using dashboards and market data information, identifying cost pressures, risks and mitigation actions to drive utilisation opportunities and close actuals vs target gaps.
Support on transformation projects, focusing on new initiatives outside of BAU to meet and exceed transformation targets.
Own the monthly invoicing governance of trucking suppliers and freighters, ensuring accurate audit of invoices and close collaboration with Finance to resolve overcharging or billing disputes.
Own the seasonal/monthly/weekly schedule and rates delivery across all assigned suppliers, and ensure proactive communication across all key internal stakeholders.
Deliver weekly and monthly reporting on performance, keeping the business informed of performance and action plans.
Act as escalation point for performance, commercial and systems issues.
Work together with Integrated Planning team at ensuring cross-team collaboration for tactical changes affecting outsourced suppliers, and sourcing and utilising the right capacity for recoveries.
Deliver internal and external (supplier) process improvement initiatives, to drive operational efficiency and service performance.
Represent IAG Cargo professionally with external partners and internal stakeholders, when required.
Requirements
Strong commercial acumen with experience delivering revenue, cost and performance results.
Experience in account ownership and supplier management.
Proven analytical capability with experience using data to influence decisions.
Experience working across international stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills.
Adaptability and flexibility.
Fluent in using PowerPoint for story telling to both peers and senior management.
Ability to prioritise when faced with multiple issues and flex workload on the day.
