Role Overview
Manage and coordinate assigned publications available online and in print
Monitor authors to obtain manuscripts and updates according to established deadlines
Recruit new authors and arrange replacements for authors who withdraw
Participate in the editorial process and publication of French-language manuscripts
Build and maintain strong relationships with the legal community, including practitioners, academics, members of the judiciary, librarians, and other external partners
Contribute to various translation projects
Serve as a point of contact for authors and members of our various teams.
Requirements
Excellent command of the French language
Excellent command of the English language
Bachelor's degree in Law
Membership in the Barreau du Québec or the Chambre des notaires du Québec is an asset
Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet publication deadlines for our print and online products
Ability to develop strong working relationships with contributors and to collaborate on projects involving multiple teams
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and the Microsoft Office suite
Proficiency in integrating artificial intelligence into work processes, including daily use of large language models (LLMs) and AI tools to support analysis and content development, as well as iterative prompt optimization to ensure consistently high-quality results.
