Set the legal voice at the leadership table on strategic decisions—partnership and licensing, financing, governance, talent, and risk.
Lead Orum’s KOSDAQ governance program and act as the senior legal point of contact for the Board of Directors and the Internal Auditor.
Design and steward the Internal Control Management System (ICMS) to satisfy KOSDAQ requirements.
Provide senior counsel on partnership and licensing deals, equity transactions and other strategic transactions.
Set the legal framework for clinical, manufacturing, commercial, and business development agreements as Orum’s pipeline matures.
Own KR-side legal matters at the strategic level: employment law, commercial relationships, regulatory compliance, and administrative matters.
Requirements
Licensed Korean Attorney required; deep Korean public-company experience as in-house counsel or at a top-tier Korean law firm.
Minimum 12–15 years of legal experience, with significant time spent in a top-tier Korean law firm and/or in-house legal department of a life sciences, biopharmaceutical, or technology company.
Demonstrated expertise in Korean corporate law, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Korean; working proficiency in English required to effectively oversee US-based direct reports and manage international counterparties.
Demonstrated leadership of a legal function—or partner-track ownership of major Korean public-company client portfolios.
Proven experience managing cross-border transactions and coordinating legal work across multiple jurisdictions, particularly the US and China.
