Role Overview
- Managing independent case load including civil cases and potential eviction matters
- Court appearances expected with high level of preparation and competency
- Strong character and positive attitude are required
- Initial intake and analysis on files within 24 hours
- Review chain of title, pleadings, and mortgage servicing documents
- Write, review, and edit reports and documents for compliance
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Membership in the State Bar of Alabama required
- Knowledge of federal, state and local laws
- Strong writing skills for drafting civil litigation documents
- Experience in default, mortgages, and/or creditors’ rights is a plus
