Role Overview
- Maintain and grow Education & State Government sales efforts
- Consultatively sell VWR’s extensive portfolio of products and services
- Prospect and establish new customers
- Develop and deliver proposals to customers
- Detail products and determine customer needs
- Work with sales management to develop strategic territory business plans
- Manage VWR's product portfolio and execute sales strategies
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent/applicable experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a complex sales environment
- Proven track record of sales success
- Business-to-business sales experience
- Experience in a scientific or laboratory environment
- Ability to utilize selling processes and technology platforms
- Willingness to travel to customer locations 4+ days a week
