Role Overview
- Executes assigned tasks in Process Engineering in accordance with operational procedures and safety/quality requirements
- Maintains the accuracy and completeness of records, documentation and transactions
- Identifies problems and inconsistencies, supporting continuous improvement of work instructions
- Supports production by resolving low
- and medium-complexity process issues
- Prepares technical documentation for processes and projects
- Assists in developing and recording information related to process safety management
- Provides support to optimize efficiency and use of resources
- Oversees field tests and the implementation of processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, a degree in Chemistry, or a Technologist degree in Chemical Processes
- Active CRQ (professional registration with the Regional Chemistry Council)
- Intermediate English for reading, speaking and writing
- Experience working on projects and/or industrial processes, preferably in the metallurgical or chemical sectors
- Experience preparing documentation and implementing projects in the field
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Desired: knowledge of PI System, AutoCAD, Visio, and Planner
