Evaluate medical records and prepare concise clinical summaries
Provide independent medical opinions in response to specific questions posed by clients
Conduct thorough medical record reviews on orthopedic spine conditions, injuries, and treatments
Participate in peer-to-peer discussions when necessary
Answer client-specific questions regarding orthopedic spine diagnoses, treatment plans, and surgical interventions
Apply current clinical guidelines and standards of care to all reviews

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship training and significant experience in Spine Surgery preferred
Current, unrestricted Tennessee medical license
Active clinical practice or recent experience in orthopedic spine surgery
Minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical experience
Ability to attend required orientation and training sessions
Maintain all applicable licensure, certifications, credentialing, and professional requirements necessary to perform reviewer services

Independent consultant role with flexible scheduling
Ability to choose case types and workload based on availability
No physician-patient relationship established; no treatment is rendered—reviews are advisory in nature only
Streamlined case assignment and management through a user-friendly online portal
Administrative support provided by Dane Street, including record collection and organization
Fully prepared cases with chronological medical records and applicable clinical guidelines
Initial training, ongoing support, and a dedicated point of contact
Predictable workflow with opportunities for supplemental professional income
