Operational responsibility for incoming credit applications
Review of financing documents followed by approval, release and commentary
Identification of credit risks based on specific creditworthiness assessments, analysis of balance sheets and financial reports, and requesting additional financing documentation
Clarification of matters related to the processing and decision status of credit/leasing inquiries
Decision-making and preparation of collateral/security arrangements
Review of entries in the Transparency Register and detection of suspicious cases related to fraud, compliance, and money laundering
Requirements
Commercial vocational training; additional field-specific qualifications preferred (e.g., leasing clerk or bank clerk)
Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in the credit decision process for corporate clients at a bank or leasing company, or in a comparable role
Strong affinity for numbers, solid mathematical understanding, and a high level of decision-making competence
Experience in assessing and analyzing annual financial statements and financial ratios
Very good technical understanding of system applications and experience in process improvement and automation
Knowledge of HGB, BGB, and KWG desirable (HGB = German Commercial Code, BGB = Civil Code, KWG = German Banking Act); familiarity with rating methodologies and legal fundamentals for financial institutions
Very good German and good English language skills
