About this role
Role Overview
Manage and coordinate key customer portfolios, including provinces, government departments, SOEs and strategic fleet accounts.
Compile, coordinate and administer RT57 State Tender Contracts and related tender submissions.
Maintain customer information through CRM systems.
Promote VWCV products through demonstration vehicles and targeted marketing activities.
Monitor competitor fleet activities and market trends.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Develop strategies to secure vehicle sales through Full Maintenance Leasing companies.
Conduct presentations to internal stakeholders and dealer partners.
Analyse customer feedback and facilitate resolution of technical queries.
Strengthen relationships between the Dealer Network, Government and fleet customers.
Participate in customer social responsibility programmes.
Engage with convertors/body builders to ensure compliance with specifications.
Requirements
Minimum 3-year Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, Commerce or related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail, marketing or sales.
Strong VW Commercial Vehicles product knowledge.
Experience with large customer groups and tender administration.
Sales management and relationship-building skills.
Negotiation and influencing skills.
Financial acumen.
Planning, organising and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills.
MS Office proficiency.
Self-starter and results-driven.
