Help develop AI-enabled tooling to automate and streamline manual data processing tasks used by the Catastrophe Advisory team
Create capabilities to compare and reconcile different versions of data, producing standardized outputs and summary controls
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate the tools into existing workflows and ensure usability
Drive iterative prototyping, testing, and refinement to improve reliability, performance, and user adoption
Produce user-facing documentation, training materials, and ongoing operational support for deployed tools
Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
Take part in internal initiatives, offering ideas and feedback to improve outcomes
Requirements
Practical experience applying AI techniques (including machine learning and modern large-language models) to automate processes
Pursuing a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline
An expected graduation date of May 2027 or May 2028 is preferred
Strong academic record in major and work experience is more important than the field of study
Curious and proactive mindset: desire and ability to lead internal initiatives and research projects to completion
Robust data management skills: ability to manipulate, interpret, and extrapolate complex data
Superior communication and presentation skills: an ability to translate complex technical analysis and concepts into easily understandable terms
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail with financial aptitude
A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and effective interpersonal skills
Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
