Senior Product Owner – Production Logistics

Role Overview

• You work closely with our production stakeholders to gather, define and prioritize their challenges and requirements related to automation, process optimization and digital production solutions.
• You guide the development team through the business requirements and manage communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all parties are aligned.
• Together with the team, you translate functional requirements from the production environment into stories and epics, breaking them down into actionable steps to ensure continuous progress.
• You create and manage tickets for internal teams and external service providers, supplementing them with your own initiative and the team's needs.
• You are responsible for maintaining and managing the product backlogs and identifying dependencies to ensure effective release planning.
• You take a central role in prioritizing requirements, staying in close exchange with internal and external stakeholders.
• As the central communication point, you ensure maximum transparency for all stakeholders and keep all relevant parties continuously informed.
• You drive the implementation of requirements and take project ownership for production-relevant initiatives across teams to successfully deliver solutions and features.
• You coordinate the involvement of external service providers, ensure quality and on-time delivery, and proactively contribute to strategic discussions so that product decisions consistently focus on efficiency, scalability and business impact.

Requirements

• You have substantial professional experience as a Product Owner and/or Project Manager (all genders) in an agile environment, ideally with a focus on production, manufacturing, or industry-related IT systems.
• You have a proven track record in designing and implementing automation or digitalization projects in a production environment.
• You enjoy working at the intersection of business and IT and bring a deep understanding of end-to-end production processes.
• Your willingness to dive into complex IT topics demonstrates your technical understanding and commitment.
• You see yourself as an integral part of the development team and act as a driving force within the team.
• With your expertise in Confluence, Jira or similar tools, you promote an efficient and structured project environment.
• Your facilitation and assertiveness skills make you a driving force for the team.
• You bring high self-motivation combined with a structured and goal-oriented working style.
• You have business-fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
• You enjoy working in a dynamic environment with significant room for initiative and a fast pace of delivery.
