French GAAP Mastery: Prepare and post complex accounting entries and ensure absolute compliance with French accounting standards.
Financial Closings: Own and drive the end-to-end preparation for monthly and annual closings to maintain accurate ledgers.
Audit and Statutory Support: Prepare statutory accounts and actively support upcoming audits with precise documentation and clear explanations.
Tax Compliance: Manage French VAT declarations, corporate tax preparations, and all required local tax filings efficiently.
Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Reconcile complex payroll entries, social contributions, bank statements, and key balance sheet accounts regularly.
Data Optimization: Identify underlying financial inconsistencies or data quality issues and propose concrete, scalable fixes.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with internal finance teams and external collaborators, including auditors, tax advisors, and payroll providers.
Requirements
International Corporate Background: Experience operating within an international corporate environment or headquarter structure, demonstrating professional English proficiency
French GAAP Expertise: Proven and recurring experience in handling complex French accounting regulations and statutory requirements
Accounting Foundations: Significant experience in account preparation, complex reconciliations, and local tax-related filings
Agile Tool Adoption: Willingness to adopt AI-powered software and translation tools to optimize workflows and speed up execution
Educational Credentials: A DCG / DSCG or an equivalent professional accounting qualification
System Competency: Proficiency with modern ERP systems, with NetSuite experience considered a distinct advantage
