Role Overview
- Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Configure and Improve our Elastic platform integration
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs that power search experiences
- Work on CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and automation
- Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders
- Ensure high-quality delivery through testing and monitoring
- Contribute to the evolution of search by integrating hybrid search, vector search, and GenAI capabilities
- Help ensure solutions meet compliance and data protection standards
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience designing and building REST APIs
- Solid experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, Boards)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices
- Strong testing mindset with JUnit and Mockito
- Proficiency with Git
- Experience with search engines and modern search architectures
- Familiarity with vector search, LLMs, or generative AI concepts
- Understanding of software quality, performance, and scalability
