Assistant Director – International Admissions

Role Overview

• Researches, develops, executes and oversees annual admissions plans to recruit and qualify students for admission
• Manages the planning, execution, and evaluation of signature undergraduate internationally-focused admissions programming
• Builds relationships with key partners to showcase the University of Rochester
• Analyzes enrollment data to inform recruitment strategies focused on international admissions
• Leads admissions processes for specialized and dual-admission programs including application workflows and committee review
• Prepares and delivers information sessions, webinars, and workshops for prospective students, families, and counselors
• Conducts market and territory research to inform annual recruitment planning and outreach strategies
• Recruits, hires, schedules, supervises, and evaluates student employees supporting international admissions operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 3 years of admissions experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Work in a related field such as higher education, college admissions, or school counseling required
• Microsoft Suite of Products or the equivalent and data analysis required
• Proficiency in a second language and experience working in a diverse academic setting preferred
