Lead the execution of corporate safety and health programs across multiple facilities
Directly support, coach, and influence Facility Safety Program Managers and Safety Coordinators across the region
Partner with facility leadership and maintenance teams to drive a strong, proactive safety culture
Conduct site audits, including quarterly safety assessments, and ensure corrective actions are effectively tracked and closed
Lead or participate in incident investigations, including OSHA-recordable events and near misses, utilizing root cause analysis
Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable ANSI, NFPA, and NIOSH standards
Support outage planning and execution, including oversight of high-risk, safety-critical work activities
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of corporate safety procedures and programs
Support VPP Star certification and recertification efforts where applicable
Manage safety-related budgets within established corporate guidelines
Serve as a subject matter expert in industrial hygiene, hazard recognition, and risk mitigation
Drive the adoption of leading indicators and proactive safety initiatives
Promote continuous improvement and accountability across all sites
Requirements
Minimum of four (4) years of regional or multi-site leadership experience directly managing facility-level Safety Program Managers and Safety Coordinators
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence safety performance across geographically dispersed teams and multiple facilities
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in industrial safety and health within a manufacturing, energy, or heavy industrial environment
Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable ANSI, NFPA, and NIOSH standards
Proven leadership capabilities, including coaching, mentoring, and driving accountability across all levels of an organization
Experience supporting multiple facilities in a regional, corporate, or multi-site capacity
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience)
Professional certification, such as CSP, CIH, or equivalent, is strongly preferred
Strong experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action development
Solid understanding of industrial hygiene principles, monitoring programs, and exposure controls
Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across locations
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an operational mindset
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey critical information clearly, including in high-pressure situations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
