Own the AU Marketing P&L: Define and lead the marketing strategy for Australia from launch through scale

Partner with the AU General Manager: Work closely with Nexo's Australia GM to align marketing with broader market strategy, regulatory milestones, and commercial priorities
You'll be the marketing voice in AU leadership decisions
Bridge with HQ: Act as the strategic interface between Australia and central Paid, Partnerships, Creative, Web/SEO, Lifecycle, and Analytics teams
Translate global capability into local impact and surface AU insight back to HQ
Market Intelligence & Channel Mapping: Maintain a live overview of Australia's crypto, fintech, and wealth landscape — including publishers, influencer ecosystems, affiliates, events, and regional ad platforms
HNWI Acquisition: Develop personas, targeting strategies, and localized messaging that resonate with Australia's high-net-worth and mass-affluent investors
Identify premium channels and moments to engage them effectively
Customer Experience Optimization: Audit key customer touchpoints (landing pages, onboarding flows, help center, FAQs) and collaborate with central teams to prioritize improvements and localization
Data-Driven Insights: Translate findings into clear, actionable briefs and test hypotheses to improve funnel performance and growth efficiency
Brand Voice: Adapt value propositions and messaging to Australia, ensuring that all communications feel native and culturally relevant
Brand Reputation & Risk Monitoring: Track brand mentions, community sentiment, and potential risks, proposing timely responses or mitigations
Build the Team: Define the AU marketing org and hire as the market scales — starting lean, scaling deliberately as traction is proven
Key Metrics (KPIs): Funded accounts in Australia, including HNWI share. Customer LTV and LTV/CAC payback for AU cohorts. Market penetration: Nexo funded accounts as a percentage of the active AU crypto investor base.
Requirements
10-15+ years in senior marketing roles, with deep knowledge of the Australian market
Proven ability to operate as a sole marketing lead in a market — comfortable owning strategy and rolling up sleeves to execute
Strong experience launching or scaling a financial product in Australia, ideally in crypto, fintech, wealth management, or trading
Proven track record of partnering effectively with country-level GMs and remote HQ marketing functions across time zones
Proven track record leveraging sporting sponsorships and in-person events to drive commercial outcomes
Hands-on crypto user with strong understanding of local crypto culture, media, and terminology
Analytical mindset — skilled in turning complex data into actionable insights; experience with GA4, MMPs, and competitive intelligence tools
Strong stakeholder management — able to align global and local priorities effectively across multiple time zones
Bias for action, structured thinking, and high editorial standards
Experience in fintech or crypto scale-ups, with an existing network of relevant partners, publishers, and creators
Demonstrated ability to build and mentor a local team once traction is proven
