You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients
Assume responsibility for all aspects of project execution including line layout engineering, mechanical design, vendor/contractor management, estimation, justification, equipment procurement, schedule management, project finances, budgeting, site management, integration, implementation, acquisition, installation, start-up, and troubleshooting
Develop equipment design and specifications, design equipment support systems, and handle bid analyses
Lead communications with vendors (OEMs) and contractors to implement innovative automation solutions
Evaluate existing packaging operations and drive projects to provide immediate ROI and improve productivity
Convert information into project documentation and manage integration of packaging automation lines
Lead project teams
Requirements
A bachelor of science in mechanical or chemical engineering, or a related technical degree
Strong analytical skills and a basic understanding of project management fundamentals
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD
Co-op or project experience with packaging lines, automation, or manufacturing applications (preferred)
Co-op or project experience in the food, dairy, high speed beverage/brewery, pharmaceutical, or consumer products environments (preferred)
