Install, diagnose, and maintain a wide range of equipment, including computers, cash registers, point-of-sale systems, printers, digital display systems, cameras and more, and perform cabling work and software updates as required.
Analyze issues, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions, ensuring merchants are satisfied with the resolution.
Build strong relationships with our merchants by demonstrating professionalism at all times.
Keep tools, equipment, company vehicle and work area organized.
Requirements
Postsecondary education in electronics, information technology or a related field.
Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in field service, technical support, customer service or a related role.
Ability to test and troubleshoot computers, networks and point-of-sale (POS) terminals.
Knowledge of computers, basic network management concepts, the Internet and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Proficiency in both English and French (reading, writing and speaking).
Valid provincial driver’s license.
Ability to work in confined spaces and handle small electrical and hand tools and equipment.
Ability to adapt to variable schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays (schedules are always communicated in advance).
