About this role

Provides leadership for construction, maintenance, and repair of substation equipment
Analyzes historical inspection, maintenance, test and operational data
Promotes and enforces a safety-first work environment and positive safety culture
Engages and motivates employees to deliver best customer experience
Supervises crews in construction and maintenance activities for T&D substations
Coordinates maintenance and construction of assigned assets
Responsible for reliability and condition of substation assets
Conducts comprehensive performance reviews
Directs safety awareness and compliance initiatives

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
Five (5) or more years of experience
Experience in the operation and maintenance of substation facilities preferred
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Valid Motor Vehicle License is required
Working knowledge of safe construction, operation, and maintenance of electric T&D facilities
Detailed knowledge of power system maintenance and operation
Strong knowledge of computers and related technology
Ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Word & Excel)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
