responsible for the administration, maintenance, and cybersecurity protection of all Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network (NETTN) client and server systems
collaborate closely with teammates and cross‑functional departments to update, monitor, and maintain servers and workstations
perform Microsoft Windows server administration, manage GPOs, create/modify DHCP reservations, patching and STIG’ing
author standard operating procedures
perform Tier 2 technical support
maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems
set up administrator and service accounts
maintain system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software
allocate mass storage space
interact with users and evaluate vendor products
make recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinate installation and provide backup recovery
develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to computing resources
Requirements
6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field
4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience
Security+ or equivalent certification
Secret Security Clearance
experience with Microsoft WSUS or SCCM
experience with Windows Servers 2016/2019 and Active Directory
Windows desktop operating systems (WIN10 SHB)
experience digesting and implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
experience with patching Microsoft servers and workstations
experience with VMware
familiarity with VDI technologies and protocols
strong customer focus, ability to manage customer needs and multiple work priorities
