Drive the product architecture discussions, focusing on designing systems that are not just effective but also certifiable.
This requires close collaboration with Hardware, Software, Safety, and Security teams.
10% travel as needed.
Requirements
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Experience with safety critical system, hardware, or software development (e.g. DO-178C, DO-254, or ARP4754A/B).
Experience authoring and validating requirements
Experience with the avionics equipment certification process.
Experience working with stakeholders to generate concepts of operations and use cases.
Experience authoring in-depth technical documents
Experience working with and testing embedded hardware and software.
Excellent communication skills for both internal and external customers.
