About this role
Role Overview
- Approve leases in the accounting system;
- Verify legal documents (leases and attachments for residential tenants);
- Prepare invoices for charges and rents (residential);
- Prepare batches of pre-authorized payments;
- Prepare deposits and make deposits via the electronic platform;
- Follow up on payments with tenants (commercial/office);
- Enter deposits into the accounting software;
- Respond to internal requests;
- Support accounting technicians and property accountants;
- Other related tasks as required.
Requirements
- DEP or DEC in Accounting (vocational or college diploma);
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in accounts receivable;
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
- Proficiency in Excel;
- Detail-oriented and meticulous;
- Energetic and proactive in completing tasks;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Demonstrate rigor and accuracy in task execution;
- Strong organizational and planning skills;
- Good sense of responsibility and initiative;
- Ability to work effectively in a team and engage colleagues;
- Knowledge of Hopem software (asset).
