Role Overview
Provide oversight of employees performing engineering and technical tasks
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, business partners, peers, and direct reports
Develop Capability engagement framework and assessments across the enterprise
Lead training and development initiatives to create industry best in class I&DS talent
Help develop Technology Strategy and roadmaps across the enterprise for I&DS
Help oversee the I&DS Strategic Investment and Capital project portfolio by supporting Long Range Business Planning exercises
Strive to continually innovate to improve existing processes and frameworks
Develop and maintain a culture of seeking to understand, courage to speak up, and active listening to manage, develop and motivate employees
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications
1 year experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
5+ years of experience in an engineering related role working in a lab test, flight test, or similar test environment
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
