Assist clients with unclaimed property services, including voluntary disclosures and audit defense
Research issues, reconcile databases, and complete detailed calculations
Create positive team member experiences, leading to excellent client service
Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities
Manage state unclaimed property audits and assist Manager and clients
Prepare reports and maintain workpaper files
Research client unclaimed property statutes and questions
Conduct interviews of accounting personnel and draft correspondence
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics or other degree with Masters in Business Discipline or JD, Business Analytics, or Business Computer Information Systems
Must have (9) Accounting hours with a 3.0 GPA or higher, and a Major GPA of 3.25
One to three years unclaimed property, state government audit or auditing experience preferred
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research
Valid driver’s license required
