act as a Development Project Manager in Billings, MT
lead design efforts as a project manager or lead engineer for low to moderate complexity civil projects
collaborate with senior staff on larger, high-complexity work while providing engineering solutions and advice that help clients achieve positive outcomes
support project delivery through analysis, design, and implementation oversight
Perform complex engineering calculations as assigned
Support water and sewer system designs for smaller private systems and larger municipal systems
Prepare grading and stormwater designs for commercial, industrial, and residential site plans
Coordinate and oversee permit application efforts for a variety of municipalities
Lead civil engineering analysis and design efforts
Partner with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information
Lead project planning, budgeting, and scheduling efforts to meet deadlines and objectives
Provide in-process design reviews and implement quality control processes to meet standards
Requirements
Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent, required
Professional Engineer (PE) License required
5 years of experience minimum required, 6 preferred, in the Civil Engineering and Construction industry required
Proficiency in design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specifications
Strong training and mentoring skills
Proficiency of industry standard engineering software and tools
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Eagerness to adapt to new challenges
Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
Ability to travel up to 15% with occasional overnight stays
