Operations Representative – Boarding Agent

Role Overview

• Provide logistics service to Principals for smooth turnaround of vessels
• Manage and distribute workload and performance evaluations within the Port Office team
• Monitor vessel operations in accordance with Inchcape policies and fulfill all relevant requirements
• Manage local overhead and commercial budgets while ensuring compliance with safety, quality and environmental procedures
• Establish and maintain relationships with principals and government authorities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree – Maritime Institutions or Academies degrees is preferred
• 2+ years of experience in general maritime industry with exposure to various commodities and vessel types utilized in the port of employment
• Direct experience of vessel operations
• Competent user of the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel and Word
• A foundational knowledge of Port Operations
