Acquire new airline cargo customers and grow revenue from existing accounts to achieve assigned sales, volume, and yield targets
Enhance revenue from new customers and increase penetration with existing customers
Own a portfolio of key cargo accounts and be fully accountable for commercial performance
Develop and execute sales strategies by route, customer segment, and capacity availability
Proactively sell priority products, guaranteed space, special cargo, and charter solutions to maximize yield
Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, shippers, and key logistics partners
Identify new trade lanes, industries, and customer opportunities to expand cargo revenue
Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, space commitments, and service agreements
Lead space allocation and booking decisions to balance customer demand, yield, and operational constraints
Work with cargo operations and network teams to optimize load factors and flight utilization
Support charter cargo planning including customer sourcing, pricing, and space commitments
Ensure all shipments comply with Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), airline policies, and packaging standards
Oversee export documentation and customs coordination in collaboration with customers and ground handlers
Act as the commercial escalation point for shipment issues, delays, or service failures
Review and validate cargo sales and revenue reports to ensure accurate billing and freight charge collection
Monitor customer, route, and product performance and take corrective actions where needed
Perform other commercial and business-related tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
4–5 years of experience in sales strategy, commercial analytics, or revenue operations
Proven track record of driving sales performance through data-driven insights and actionable strategies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
Experience working closely with sales or commercial leaders to optimize performance, build forecasts, and identify business opportunities
Ability to influence and collaborate across functions (Sales, Finance, Marketing, Ops) with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and driving system adoption
Experience in fast-paced industries, such as logistics, e-commerce, or tech, is preferred
Willingness to travel across the region occasionally as needed
